Bloomington United Recreational Training Staff

Bloomington United staffs its recreational program with current and former players with a passion for the sport and who have received training both inside and outside the club to help them guide our youngest players through their first years of soccer.

About Ella

Ella is a sophomore at Jefferson High School who completed her varsity soccer season last fall. Ella balances high school and club soccer along with working with the youngest players in our club in our Kickers Rec Program. Playing soccer since age 3, Ella has been with Bloomington United for six years and will play with the Girls U19 team this spring.

Ella trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program.







Our Training Staff

Sophia Trainer of the WeekSophia
Sophia is a junior at Jefferson High School who completed her third varsity soccer season last fall. Sophia is currently participating in her third season of varsity hockey at Jefferson and is also a member of the National Honor Society. She will play on the United Girls U19C1 team this spring.  

Sophia trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program.


Bloomington United Trainer of the WeekMaddie
Maddie is a senior at Kennedy High School who completed her final varsity soccer season this fall. A member of the National Honor Society and involved in student government, Maddie also plays lacrosse. She will complete her final club season this spring on United's U19C1 Girls Team.  

Maddie trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program and has also been a coach for our Rec Plus Program.

Amy is a senior at Jefferson High School who completed her third and final varsity soccer season this fall. Also active in dance, Amy is a member of the National Honor Society who has been playing for Bloomington United for the last ten years. She will finish her playing career with United on the U19C1 team this spring.  

Amy trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program.


Bloomington United Trainer of the WeekEmily
Emily is a senior at Kennedy High School who recently finished her varsity soccer season as one of the team's captains. A four year varsity player at Kennedy, Emily has been playing for Bloomington United since she was 12 and plans to finish her club career this spring as a member of the Girls U19C1 team.  

Emily has been training our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players for four years and also helps out with other various programs as well.

Luci is a senior at Jefferson High School who just completed her senior varsity season and a two year stint as team captain. Also an accomplished hockey player, Luci is also in the National Honors Society and is the Student Council President at JHS. Luci has played for Bloomington United for ten years and will finish her run with the U19C1 team this spring. 

Luci trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program. 


Bloomington United Trainer of the WeekThomas
Thomas is a senior at Benilde St. Margaret's High School who recently finished his varsity soccer season as one of the team's captains. Also an accomplished skier at Benilde, Thomas started playing for Bloomington United in the rec program and will finish his final year of club soccer this season as a U18 player. 

Thomas trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program and also helps with other various United Programs.

Luci is a senior at Jefferson High School who just completed her senior varsity season and a two year stint as team captain. Jake Trainer of The Week Bloomington UnitedJake
Jake is a senior at Jefferson High School and recently finished his senior soccer season as the starting varsity goalkeeper and one of the team's captains. Also an accomplished tennis player at Jefferson, Jake has played for Bloomington United since he was U9 and is planning on finishing his playing days with the club this spring as a U19 player. . 

Jake is a trainer for our Kickers program and also a coach for our Rec Plus program working with players with the desire to improve their technical skill perhaps with an eye toward being on a competitive team. 


Isa Trainer Bloomington UnitedIsa
Isa is a junior at Jefferson High School and currently involved in high school and club soccer, National Honor Society, Pathfinders, volunteering at the humane society and multiple clubs. She has been playing for Bloomington United since she was about 6 years old, and is currently on the U19 C1 spring traveling team. 

Isa trains our Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade recreational players in our Kickers Program.
